[Focus] Ieperfest, le festival belge de hardcore

Après un article sur ce blog au sujet des californiens de STRIFE et une nouvelle fournée de groupes annoncée il y a peu sur le site de ce fameux festival belge (avec entre autres Aborted, Cornered ou Skarhead), il m'a semblé nécessaire d'en parler plus longuement ici.

Strife (Ieperfest 2011)

Ce festival flamand de hardcore situé à Ieper (ou Ypres en français, à environ 30min de Lille) verra sa 20ème édition se dérouler les 10/11/12 Aout prochain. Au menu de celle ci:

Alors que les californiens enregistrent en ce moment même un tout nouvel album, il m'a semblé opportun de consacrer un post sur ce blog à ce groupe de hardcore américain trop peu connu. Hardcore?! Je vois déjà les plus chevelus d'entre vous arrêter leur lecture ... à tort!

Le groupe Strife sera produira au Hellfest sur la Warzone (Dimanche juste avant Biohazard et Madball).

En effet, le groupe est programmé au Hellfest 2012, premier gage de qualité... (Je vous vois lever un sourcil dubitatif en attendant la suite). Le deuxième est la présence derrière les fûts pour cet album de Igor Cavalera. Oui, le batteur de Sepultura. (J'ai regagné là votre intérêt). Le troisième est que le tout est produit par Nick Jett, le batteur de Terror qui a aussi été derrière les manettes entre autre dernièrement du dernier Backtrack "Darker Half" (J'ai rassuré là les coreux).
